What personally identifiable information is collected from you?
NCB collects the following information regarding visitors to our website: IP address, information regarding what pages are accessed and when, information volunteered by you, such as survey information, email address and your preferred means of communication.

NCB uses the information collected about you to help us understand more about how our site is used. By signing up to the petition: ‘I want rights and justice for every disabled child’ you are agreeing to your information being used to support the campaign. Children under the age of 18 require consent to receive campaign updates from EDCM but can sign-up to the petition without consent. Anybody (including children) who does not sign-up for updates will not be contacted by EDCM, however their information will be stored and added to the petition.
Who is collecting your information?
NCB owns the information collected on this site, the information will only be shared with EDCM and its partner organisations(Contact a family, Council for Disabled Children, Mencap, Special educational consortium). We will not sell or rent this information to third parties. We collect information at several different points on our website.
With whom does NCB share your information?
NCB is committed to protecting the personal data of its supporters and members. Any details you give us will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

NCB will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information, except where you have given your explicit permission. From time to time we may want to contact you with EDCM campaign updates. You can opt in to this type of contact using the tickboxes provided. If you are emailed with information and you do not want to continue receiving it, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the email, which will tell you how to unsubscribe from receiving further updates.
What is the policy on allowing me to update, correct or delete my personally identifiable information?
The accuracy of your individual identifying information is important. When you give NCB personal information we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely.
