The Disabled Children Matter Wales (DCMW) campaign has now been launched. DCMW is the sister campaign to Every Disabled Child Matters, focussing specifically on Wales.
Led by Learning Disability Wales, Children In Wales, Mencap Cymru and Contact a Family Wales, the campaign will initially focus on influencing the Welsh Assembly Government to secure additional resources and improve services for disabled children and their families in Wales.
Please go to http://www.dcmw.org.uk to sign up to the Wales campaign and email your local Assembly Member.
Steve Broach, EDCM campaign manager, comments:
'We are delighted that colleagues in Wales have set up a specific campaign to influence the Welsh agenda. We want every disabled child to matter all over the UK, wherever they happen to live. We will be working closely with the Disabled Children Matter Wales campaign on our shared vision of rights and justice for every disabled child.'
