Going Places!
Take action! Email your council to get better places to go and things to do where you live
During summer 2008 EDCM asked disabled children and young people what better ‘things to do and places to go’ should look like for them.
We had loads of great responses so thank you to everyone who got in touch with comments and stories.
We have published a booklet of young people’s views and recommendations about what needs to change. We have also published a campaign tool to help young people campaign for better places to go where they live. You can download the booklets here
We made a DVD with the help of KIDS Hayward Adventure Playground and the Out & About group from Ipswich:
