We'd like people to understand more about what life is like for disabled children, young people, and their families.
There are a number of ways you can help us to do this below.
What do parents think about Every Child Matters?
Parents from the Children with Disabilities Parents Forum in Newcastle got together to write down their thoughts and feelings about what Every Child Matters means for their children. You can read some of their poems here.
You can read poems from young people here and here. We would like to have more poems from disabled children and young people on the website. Please send yours in to [email protected] if you would like to share them.
'If I could change one thing . . .'
Thank you for all your responses to the question: 'If I could change one thing for disabled children and their families it would be...' We have now published many of the responses in our 'If I could change one thing...' booklets. Using these links, you can download them and find out more.
Tell your story
Real experiences told by families are a very powerful way to put pressure on government to make change happen and improve the situation for disabled children and their families. If you would like to help us with our media work and tell your story to a wider audience please complete our media form [Word 98KB] and email it back to us at [email protected].
Send us your photos
We’d like to put photographs of disabled children, young people and their families on our website and on our other materials. We need your permission to do this so please complete our photo form [Word 97KB] and send it with your photos to us at [email protected].
Join our Action Network
If you sign up to the campaign using the form on the right, we will add you to the Network and ask you to help us all through the campaign when we need to make some noise or put some pressure on government.
Tell someone else
If you or someone you know doesn’t use email, but wants to get involved, they can phone us or write to us instead - see our contacts page.
