EDCM calls on supporters to help End Child Poverty
On Saturday 4th October 2008, End Child Poverty (ECP) are holding the UK’s biggest ever child poverty event, taking place in Trafalgar Square as part of the Keep the Promise campaign.
EDCM is urging all its supporters to show their support for End Child Poverty by signing up to the Keep the Promise campaign and by joining the thousands of others at the Keep the Promise event on 4th October.
The Government has made the promise of a generation - to end child poverty. With your support we can make this happen.
Steve Broach, EDCM Campaign Manager and ECP Board Member, comments:
‘Disabled children are at increased risk of living in poverty, as parents of disabled children often face barriers to accessing the workplace, and additional costs that are not covered by current benefit levels. We urge all our supporters to attend the rally and join the call to End Child Poverty.’
