TAKE ACTION!
Depending on whether or not your PCT has signed the Charter, you can lobby your PCT to sign up now, or if they have signed, you can lobby your PCT to deliver on the Charter commitments. So... take action!
Guidance on how PCTs can sign up to the Charter
The Charter is a series of specific commitments EDCM is asking PCTs to make by January 2009. These commitments are specific but realistic.

The PCT Charter is framed around the elements of Standard 8 of the National Service Framework for Children (NSF), which deals specifically with support for disabled children and children with complex health needs. PCTs may find it helpful to download Standard 8 and its Audit Tool when considering delivery of the Charter.
