EDCM Local Authority Charter

English local authorities can get involved in the campaign by signing up to our Local Authority Charter.

Supporters can find out how to help make this happen by downloading Making Disabled Children Matter Locally and clicking on take action! below...

TAKE ACTION!
Depending on whether or not your local authority has signed the Charter, you can lobby your local authority to sign up now, or if they have signed, you can lobby your local authority to deliver on the Charter commitments. So... take action!

If your local authority has not signed, you can also Email a letter to your local newspaper to call on your local authority to sign up to our Charter.

The Charter is a series of specific commitments EDCM is asking Local Authorities to make to improve services for disabled children and their families.

These commitments are specific but realistic - for examples of action being taken you can see how Sunderland, Cornwall, Wolverhampton and East Riding of Yorkshire are all planning to deliver on their commitments.
