Young Campaigners

EDCM works with Making Ourselves Heard, the project to ensure every disabled child's right to be heard becomes a reality, to involve disabled children, young people and their families in setting the agenda for EDCM campaigns.

If I could change one thing...

During summer 2007, EDCM asked disabled children, young people, and their parents: 'If you were Prime Minister for the day, and could change one thing, what would it be?'

Going Places!

'Going Places!' was launched in 2008 and sets out what disabled children and young people think about the play and leisure opportunities available to them and what needs to change to improve them.

Manifesto for Change

Ahead of the 2010 General Election, we produced the 'Disabled Children's Manifesto for Change' report and film to tell political parties what they could do to make the UK a better place to live for disabled children and young people.

Disabled Young People and PIP

In the summer of 2012, EDCM held four focus groups with disabled young people to gather their views on money, benefits and the new Personal Independence Payment and to influence welfare policy.
