Housing

EDCM wants to see all disabled children and their families live in suitable housing that meets their needs.

Campaign briefing:

Our campaign briefing 'Disabled children and housing' launched in June 2008, shows that families with disabled children may be the worst housed families in Britain.

It highlights that fewer than half of disabled children live in housing suitable to their needs - a lower proportion than for any other age group of disabled people.

EDCM is calling on all levels of government and social housing providers to prioritise the housing needs of families with disabled children.
