Local Authority Charter Implementation Plans

EDCM encouraged all local authorities that signed up to the Local Authority Charter to produce an implementation plan. We would encorage all the Local Authorities signing up to the new Disabled Children's Charter to also produce implementation plans.

Implementation plans support local authorities to be transparent about their timescales and plans for delivering each commitment and enables parents and disabled young people themselves to hold their local authority to account.
